1. Obituary: Harrisburg Telegraph: obituary of Moses Henry Brensinger on 7 Feb 1901 in Harrisburg, Dauphin, PA. 3 MR. MOSES H. BRENSINGER. At his home, 610 Reily street, at 10:15 o'clock this morning occurred the death of Mr. Moses Henry Brensinger, the well -known foreman of Boas' Planing Mill. Deceased was 49 years of age and is survived by a wife, Mrs. Mary Brensinger, and one daughter, Miss Mabel Brensinger, a teacher in the Hamilton building. Six sisters also survive: Mrs. Kale Eastern, Oakmont, near Pittsburg; Mrs. Mary Waller, Mrs. Amelia Keikert, Mrs. Lucy Schuddemadge and the Misses Clara and Margaret Brensinger, of this city.

Mr. Brensinger was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Brensinger, who at one time resided on a farm near Linglestown, but removed to this city some years ago. He was married to Miss Mary Ulrich, twenty-three years ago.

He was one of the most expert wood workers in this vicinity and was employed at the Schuddemadge Mill, and Harrisburg Car Works for a number of years. For the past sixteen years he had been foreman at Boas'.

Last Spring he contracted a cold which developed into lung trouble, from which he suffered until his death.

Mr. Brensinger had many friends. He was devoted to his family, and was a loving husband and a kind parent. He took a great interest in sports and was one of the best wing shots in this part of the State. He was a charter member of the Harrisburg Shooting Association, and attended all the big events in the neighboring towns. He was a member of the Hope Fire Company.

The funeral will take place Saturday afternoon. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Luther DeVoe, pastor of Messiah Lutheran Church. Interment will be private, and will be made in the Harrisburg cemetery.
