2. Census in 1900 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia, PA. ² The 1900 census recorded at 142 Hermitage St. in Philadelphia: John J. Beacher, carpenter, born Mar 1840; Agnis, wife, born May 1844, married 35 years to John. She had birthed 8 children, 4 still alive in 1900; with them was Henry, son, born Oct 1879. Three Beacher grandchildren were living with them (their mother Mary Ellen "Nellie" Beacher Bright, not listed, was living elsewhere): Sarah Bright, 16, May 1884 [error: should be age 6 year 1894, according to 1910-1940 census]; William Bright, 14, Jun 1886; and Carrie Bright, 10, Nov 1890. Also in the home was a boarder, Oscar Miller, laborer, 25, Aug 1875, who had married John J.'s daughter Catherine in 1896. (Catherine, not listed, was living elsewhere.).

3. Census in 1930 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia, PA. ³ The 1930 census recorded owning a $6,000 home at 4564 N. 19th Street: Charles H. Felty, rail road conductor, 59, living with wife Mary E., 58; stepdaughter Sarah Bright, private practical nurse, 36, single; and granddaughter Victoria Adams, 14. Everyone and their parents were born in Pennsylvania except Victoria's father in England. Charles and Mary were married at age 20 and 21 respectively, so, about 1893.

4. Census in 1940 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia, PA. ¹ The 1940 census recorded renting at 4560 N. Smedley: Charles H. Felty, 69, living with wife Mary E., 69; and stepdaughter Sarah Bright, private nurse, 48, single. Everyone was born in Pennsylvania. They lived in the same place in 1935.

Sarah married Fred Humphries.
