Mehlhouse, 16 Mar 1887, Reading, Berks, Pennsylvania, USA. 1 The funeral of Mrs. Laura V. Mehlhouse, in her 28th year, wife of C. H. Mehlhouse, took place yesterday at 1 o'clock from the residence of the family, No. 359 Walnut street, and was largely attended. The corpse was attired in black satin trimmed ruche and reposed in a solid walnut casket with silver handles. Religious services were held in the Emmanuel Lutheran church, Rev. D. K. Kepner, pastor, who preached from Isaiah 43-1. The pallbearers were Wm. M. Brizzolari, W. B. Scheetz, Samuel R. Longacre, Henry L. Reinert; interment in Pottstown Cemetery. Laura married Cornelius H. Mehlhouse, son of Henry Mihlhouse and Hannah Strohm. (Cornelius H.
