Mrs. Bucher was a homemaker. She was a former member of the First Presbyterian Church, Madison, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Bucher; her parents, William S. and Pearlie, nee Neely, Lee; a daughter, Betty Lee Meyer; and a brother, Melvin Lee.
Surviving are a son, Frank Bucher Jr. of St. Louis, Mo.; two daughters, Shirley (Ralph) Fries of Caseyville, III., and Mary Anne Svezia of Granite City, III.; seven grandchildren, Ed (Sharon) Meyer, David (Sue) Meyer, Shirley (Dave) Wilkerson, Michael Fries, Betty Fries, Mary Lee (Tom) Kaliher and Derek Svezia; and six great-grandchildren, Aaron (Marlo) Meyer, Penny Meyer, Christopher Fries, Ashlynne Kaliher, Brandon McMillan and Justin McMillan; and a great-great-grandchild, Kilee.
Memorials may be made to the Heartland Hospice.
Visitation: Friends may call from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2004, at Caseyville Methodist Church, Caseyville,
Funeral: Memorial services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2004, at Caseyville Methodist Church, Caseyville, III. Cremation will be held.
