Two Members Of Family Die Within Sixteen Hours Of Each Other

Within a period of about sixteen hours yesterday death claimed two members of one family, a brother and a sister, John Henry Nickol, sixty-nine years old, died at 1:45 a. m. yesterday at his home, 25 Fulton street, following an illness of four weeks from a complication of diseases.

About 6 p. m. yesterday his sister. Mrs. Catherine Hibner, seventy-four years old died at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Knaub, 419 North Newberry street, of a complication of diseases following a long illness. Mrs. Hibner, who had been in an unconscious condition, was not aware that her brother had preceded her in death.

Mr. Nickol, who for the past twenty-one years was employed at the plant of the Home Furniture company, is survived by his wife, Mrs. Laura S. Nickol: three sons. Clarence J. Nickol, 29 Fulton street: Oliver T. Nickol, 27 Fulton street. and George W. Nickol, S6 North Hartman street; one daughter, Mrs. Arthur Roeckel, at home; a sister. Mrs. Annie McCauley, 634 East Philadelphia street: a brother. Harry L. Nickol, Drexel Hill, Philadelphia, and ten grandchildren. The deceased was a member of Zion Reformed church.

Mrs. Hibner, the widow of Edward R. Hibner, is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Nellie Williams, 341 East Philadelphia street: Mrs. Daisy Westerhold. 515 South Queen street. and Mrs. Edna Knaub, 419 North Newberry street; three sons, Harry E. Hibner, 518 South Queen street, Norman C. Hibner, Camden, N. J and Charles A. Hibner, 140 East College avenue; a sister, Mrs. Anna McCauley, 634 East Philadelphia street; a brother, Harry L. Nickol, Drexel Hill, Philadelphia; thirteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was a member of Memorial Reformed Church.

The bodies were removed to the funeral home of Edward W. Baumeister, 614 South Pershing avenue, and prepared for burial. The funeral of Mr. Nickol will he held from his home, 25 Fulton street, on Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Rev. Dr. J. Kern McKee, pastor of Zion Reformed church, will officiate. Interment will be made in Prospect Hill cemetery.
Mrs. Hibner's funeral will be held at 2 p. m. Monday, with services at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, 419 North Newberry street, with Rev. Dr. F. C. Keen, pastor of Memorial Reformed Church, officiating. Interment will be made in Prospect Hill cemetery.
