A native of Chester, Mr. King has lived here all his life. He graduated from St. James Catholic High School in 1960. He worked 10 years at Boeing Vertol Co., Ridley Township and at British Petroleum Co., Trainer, for four and a half years as a pipefitter.
Mr. King was a veteran of the Vietnam conflict, a member of St. Roberts Church, Chester, a past president of the Irvington Civic Association, and a representative on the athletic association of British Petroleum.
He is survived by his wife, the former Dale Beecher, one son, Damon, and one daughter, Danielle. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Patrick King of Chester, and one sister, Mrs. Joseph Kendra of Folsom, also survive him.
The funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday in the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 2316 Providence Ave., Chester. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. in St. Roberts Church, Chester. Burial will be in Immaculate Church, Chester. Contributions may be made to the American Lukemia Society.

Daniel married Dale Beecher, daughter of Frank M. Beecher and Georganna Banning Dewees. (Dale Beecher was born on 13 Apr 1943 in Chester, Delaware, PA ⁵.)
