The chancel of the Kendall Methodist Episcopal Church was decorated beautifully with shasta daisies, pink roses and blue delphinium Saturday at the wedding of Miss Margaret Ethel Remington, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. A. C. Remington, West Avenue, and J. Bruce Scrymgeour, son of Mr. and Mrs. N. B. Scrymgeour, Ravenwood Avenue. The Rev. Raymond Draffin officiated. Given in marriage by her father, the bride was gowned In white chiffon over white taffeta empire style and her finger tip veil of tulle was arranged with a Juliet cap. She carried a bouquet of shasta daisies. Miss Olga Ritchie, who was maid of honor, was attired In blue chiffon over pink taffeta and carried a bouquet of pink roses and blue delphinium. Kenneth Cross was best man. Following the ceremony a dinner and reception were held at the Roxbury Inn in Brockport for the immediate families and a few Intimate friends. On their return Aug. 1, from a motor trip to Quebec the couple will reside in Rush. The bride is a graduate of Stratford College, Danville, Va., and studied at the Eastman School of Music. The bridegroom is a graduate of the University of Rochester amd a member of Delta Upsilon fraternity.

ROCHESTER. The daughter of an admiral and a naval officer will be married on Bahrain Island, Persian Gulf, next month according to an announcement made by his fiance's parents. The bride-to-be is Miss Virginia Brian Beecher, daughter of Rear Adm. and Mrs. William Gordon Beecher Jr. of Arlington, Va. Announcement is made of her engagement and forthcoming marriage to Lt. Comdr. John Bruce Scrymgeour, USNR, son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Burritt Scrymgeour of Ravenwood Avenue. Miss Beecher is currently residing with her aunt and uncle, Rear Admiral and Mrs. H. H. Henderson on Bahrain Island. She attended William and Mary College, the University of Hawaii and was graduated from George Washington University. She is a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. Lt. Comdr. Scrymgeour is a graduate of the University of Rochester, where he became a member of Delta Upsilon fraternity.
