Salisbury, March 16 -- W. C. Goodman, farmer and sawmill man of Cleveland, Rowan county, died this morning a few minutes after he told members of the family he did not believe he was going to live long. Mr. Goodman had recently been ill with a complication of diseases, but was better, and his nurse was dismissed several days ago. He was up all day yesterday, and got up this morning and went to the kitchen, but became suddenly worse and died soon. The widow and four children survive. One on is S. M. Goodman, postal clerk on the Yadkin railroad, and a daughter is Mors. Will Beeker, of Salisbury.
