Miss Ellen Rowe died in the home of her brother, Mr. Jason Rowe, near Cotton Grove, Tuesday, November 5th after a lingering illness of cancer. Her funeral was conducted by Rev. R. E. White at Jersey church Wednesday afternoon and the interment was in the church cemetery.
Miss Rowe was 64 years old. Her parents died when she was a young woman. She was the oldest one of the several children and she filled the place largely as mother to them. She made her home during the recent years with her brother, Mr. Jason Rowe. Her life was quiet and faithful. She was a member of Jersey church for many years. She had sufferend from an incurable disease and death was a relief from pain.
