The Rev. John Akers officiated. Dinner and dancing hosted by the bride's parents followed the ceremony at the Greensboro City Club. On Friday evening, the rehearsal dinner was catered at the couple's home.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Beeker of Burlington, N.C. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Woodrow Beeker of Burlington, N.C. and the late Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Rich of Burlington, N.C. She is a graduate of Graham High School, Graham, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in economics. She earned a doctorate of dental surgery degree, also, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has a general dentistry practice in Greensboro.

The groom is the son of Mr. George Hoffmeyer of Virginia Beach, Va. and Ms. Bonnie Hoffmeyer of Fayetteville, N.C. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Marion Dargon Hoffmeyer of Florence, S.C. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Leo (Buster) Keefe of Florence, S.C. He is a graduate of Southview High School, Hope Mills, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with B.A. in physical education with a concentration in exercise science. He is a personal trainer with clients at the Greensboro Country Club and in Chapel Hill.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by her sister Miss Joann Beeker of High Point as maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Ms. Kathie Hall of Charlotte, N.C., Mrs. Julie Cox of Iron Station, N.C., Miss Jennifer Keith of Charlotte, N.C., Mrs. Kim Nye, sister of the groom, of Fayetteville, N.C. and Mrs. Shealene Clark of Greenville, S.C. Chloe Clark of Greenville, S.C. was the flower girl.

Mr. John Hoyte Stultz III of Roxboro, N.C. served as best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Steven Beeker, brother of the bride, of Gibsonville, N.C., Mr. Sean Sundberg of Raleigh, N.C., Mr. Guhi Bowers of Jamestown, N.C., Mr. Glenn Estacio of Chapel Hill, N.C. and Mr. Chris Harbinson of Chapel Hill, N.C. The ring bearer was Spencer Linens, second cousin to the bride, of Morganton, N.C.
