Mrs. Sallie Knerr, of Lanark, Allentown Star Route, was found dead in the kitchen of her home yesterday by members of her family. It is believed she suffered a heart attack and collapsed upon returning home Tuesday night. Mrs, Knerr, stepmother of Alton Knerr, well known auctioneer and operator of a grocery in Lanark, opposite the home where the 73-year-old woman lived alone, had visited Alton before her death. She had voted and purchased groceries, then started for home. When her body was found, the kitchen light was illuminated, and it appeared that Mrs. Knerr had just placed her groceries on a table when she fell. She was born in Hosensack, a daughter of the late Levinus and Sarah (Weiss) Seibert. She was twice married. Both husbands, Myron Schantzenbach and George Knerr, preceded her in death. She held membership in St. Paul's (Blue) Church, Coopersburg R. 2.
