She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul H. Woods, RD5, and he is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl S. Beecher, Walnut Bottom. The Rev. Andrew Kazor performed the double ring ceremony and Miss Linda Gill, RD5, was the organist. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a street length, white linen dress with embroidery around the neckline and sleeves. A cabbage rose held her should length illusion veil, and she carried a white Bible with two cymbidium orchids. The maid of honor, Miss Sally Beecher, sister of the bridegroom, wore a street length blue dress with an overlay of white lace, and a circular veil held by daisies. She carried a single blue carnation. The bride's mother wore a peach a-line dress with beige accessories and matching corsage. The bridegroom's mother wore a dark brown linen dress with white accessories and matching corsage. The best man was Second Lt. Richard P. Bender, Mineral Wells, Tex. The reception was held at the home of the bridegroom's sister, Mrs. Joanne Ashburn, Shippensburg. The bride, a 1967 graduate of Carlisle High School, and the bridegroom, a 1965 graduate of Big Spring High School, are lab technicians at Carlisle Tire Tire and Rubber Company. He is a member of the Army Reserves. Mr. and Mrs. Beecher are residing at Centerville.
