Holly Springs passed away peaceful in his sleep at home Wednesday, April 20, 2016. Rob has been a mentor and role model to everyone around him his entire life, as well as, a father figure to anyone who needed a positive influence, advice or support. Becoming a father at 17 made Rob strive where others would have failed and take great pride in his children's success. He took his hurdles and made it positive by becoming dedicated to hard work and driven to succeed. He worked for 20 years as a specialized services technician, mostly for Bobcat, before finally accomplishing his career goal of opening his own business. Rob could fix anything and had an amazing intellect and knowledge about the world and everything in it. He always felt his main purpose in life was to take care of everyone around him and fix all problems no matter what the issue is, which earned him his most fitting nickname "Mr. Fix it". Rob was a dedicated and loving husband for 29 years to his first and only love and made it his mission to support and give his all to his family. Everyone that has ever met Rob is proud of him however, he was the type of person you weren't just proud of, but the person you aspire to be like. He loved all things in nature from the rocks on the ground to the stars in the sky. We were all lucky to have had the experience to be around such an amazing soul and even though he is gone he will continue to be the strength and support for everyone to go on. His memory will live on with us everyday. Survived by his wife, Pamela Nicholson, Daughter, Alicia Beecher (Eric), Son, Robert W.J. Nicholson Jr., preceded in death Alicia, Parents: Harry and RoseMarie Nicholson, Mother and Father-in-Laws; Gail and preceded in death Gary Ricciardelli, preceded in death by sister Jennifer Nicholson, Brother, Adam Nicholson, Grandsons; Gavin B. and Johnathan M., Granddaughters; Aaliyah N., Aubree B., and Annabelle N., Sister-In-Law; Kristy Ricciardelli, Brother-In-Law, David Ricciardelli (Debbie) and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and friends. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, April 29. 2016 Mt. Holy Springs Church of God, 602 McLand Rd. Mt Holly Springs, PA 17065. A visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until time of services Friday at the church.
