BELLE PLAINE -- Vows were exchanged Sunday by Miss Janet Ann Boettcher, daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. Alvin H. Boettcher, and David Eugene Etheredge, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Dean Etheredge. The bride's father performed the 2 o'clock ceremony in First Congregational church. The bride's gown of Chantllly lace was fashioned with a fitted neckline, long sleeves and Watteau chapel-length train. The bride wore an elbow-length veil held to a Swedish crown of pearls and carried yellow sweet heart roses on a Bible. Miss Jean Kurt served as maid of honor. Miss Mary Van Ersvelde and Mrs. Paul Boettcher of Cedar Rapids were bridesmaid and bridesmatron. They wore yellow linen gowns fashioned with Empire bodices and cape sleeves. Their flowers were yellow daisies arranged in wicker baskets. Dennis Etheredge served as his brother's best man and Dennis Posekany and Paul Boettcher of Cedar Rapids, brother of the bride, were groomsmen. Ushers were Dennis Hewett of Cedar Rapids, Terry Gunzenhauser and Robert Etheredge, brother of the bridegroom. A reception was given in the church parlors. The bride attended Mercy hospital school of nursing and her husband, a graduate of Area Ten Community college, is employed by Handler Motor Co.
