1. Obituary: Press Herald: obituary of Mona M. Pagels on 15 Feb 1997 in Portland, Cumberland, ME, USA. ² BREMEN - Mona M. Pagels, 80, died Friday in Woburn, Mass. She was born in Bristol, New Brunswick, the daughter of John and Marion Hodgdon Miller and had spent most of her life in Waldoboro. She lived with her grandmother until she was 13 and graduated from Oak Grove Girls School in Waterville and later went to business college. Mrs. Pagels was a homemaker who loved to make all kinds of crafts. She lived in Woburn until her husband died, then moved back to Maine. She had been living with her daughter until recently in Woburn. Surviving are a daughter, Marion M. Beecher of Woburn; a son, Robert H. Pagels of Lynnfield, Mass.; a brother, Roger Miller of Jefferson; an aunt, Ella Payne of Waldoboro; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hall Funeral Home, Waldoboro. The Rev. Charles D. Kinney will officiate. Spring burial will be in the German Cemetery, Waldoboro.
