Also in the home is Henry's mother, Mariah, 70, born in Virginia, as were Henry and Sabina. Their children were born in West Virginia, which until 1863 was part of Virginia.
3 census pages earlier is Henry's brother: Isaac F. Fisher, farmer, 51, living with wife Mary J., 38; and nephew Sampson Fisher, works on farm, 13. Isaac and Mary were born in Virginia and Sampson in West Virginia, which until 1863 was part of Virginia.

2. Census in 1900 in Kanawha District, Braxton, WV. The 1900 census recorded owning a home: Henry M. Fisher, farmer, 55, born Dec 1844, living with wife Sabina, 54, Mar 1846; Thomas, day laborer, 21, May 1879; and Roy, no occupation, 19, Jun 1881. Henry and Sabina were married for 32 years (abt 1868) and she had given birth to 9 children, all alive in 1900. Everyone and their parents were born in West Virginia.

Everyone and their parents were born in West Virginia except Margaret's father in Scotland.
