She departed this life Tuesday, August 25, 2020, in Lake Regional Medical Center, in Osage Beach, Missouri, at the age of seventy-eight years, eleven months, and twenty-six days.
On October 8, 1966, she was united in marriage to Ralph Joseph Fort, and they shared the last fifty-three years.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Deanna is survived by her husband, Ralph, of the home; seven daughters, Diana Hall, and her husband, Brian, Vicky Bott, and her husband, Dan, Deanna Boshe, and her husband, Eric, all of Lebanon, Missouri, Jackie John, and her husband, James, of Palm Harbor, Florida, Kimberly Fort, and her significant other, Marie Brooks, Krissy Fort, all of Ocala, Florida, and Kathryn Fort, and her wife, Brittany, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; two sons, Bob Fort, and his wife, Kandi, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Richard Beecher, and his wife, Kathy, of Spring, Texas; seventeen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a brother, Randy Bacon, and his wife, Heidi, of Springfield, Missouri; three sisters, Judy Vaughn, and her husband, Jerry, of Springfield, Missouri, Glenda Weaver, and her husband, Gary, of Plano, Texas, and Donna West, and her husband, Donnie, of Lebanon, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in the Lebanon, Missouri area, and graduated from Lebanon High School in the Class of 1959. She moved to North Judson, Indiana for four years, where she met Ralph and soon after they were married, they made their home in the Lebanon area. Deanna went to work at the H. D. Lee Company and continued working for them for a total of twenty plus years. Throughout the years, Deanna was a devoted homemaker to her husband and a loving mother to her children. Later, she worked in the insurance and billing department at Lebanon Mercy Hospital for fifteen years before retiring.
Deanna had made her profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Community Baptist Church near Lebanon. Her faith was very important to her.
She enjoyed playing "Words With Friends" on her cell phone and was a dedicated Trump supporter. She was a very strong person and was the pillar of her family. She adored her children and all of her grandchildren and loved each of them dearly.
Deanna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and was a caring friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
A memorial to the New Hope Cemetery near Russ, Missouri has been established and contributions may be made through the funeral home.
