William and his parents were born in England. Ellen was born in Pennsylvania and her parens in Wales. Their children were all born in Pennsylvania. William owned his home.

Mrs. Anna Weikel passed away this morning at her home. No. 15 Yatesville.
She was sick only two days. Born in Jacksons, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Horrox. The family moved from Jacksons to Brandonville and later to Yatesville.
She was a member of the Evangelical Church at Brandonville. Her husband, Walter, died on October 9, 1943, and a son, Elmer, died last October 23.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Kowalsky, in Connecticut; Miss Elsie, at home; five sons, Alfred, Albert, Darwin, all at home; Wallace and Gordon, both of Mahanoy City.
She also leaves four brothers, Richard and Ralph Horrox, of -Milton; Emerick Gordon, both of Brandonville, and seven grandchildren.
The funeral will take place from the home on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be in the Union Cemetery, Brandonville. Viewing will be Wednesday evening. Other arrangements are incomplete. J. A. Oravitz and Sons have charge.

3. Obituary: The Record American on 25 Nov 1946 in Mahanoy City, Schuylkill, PA. 2 Mrs. Anna Weikel Dies At Yatesville Today
Mrs. Anna Weikel, a resident of Yatesville for a number of years and mother of Elmer Weikel who died here on October 23d, died unexpectedly at her home at 15 Yatesville this morning. She had been ill only since Saturday.
The departed was born at Jacksons and was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Horrox.
Religiously she was a member of the Evangelical Church of Brandonville.
Her husband, Walter Weikel died October 9, 1943.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Kowalsky, Connecticut; Elsie, at home and four sons, Albert and Darwin, at home; Wallace and Gordon, Mahanoy City. Further surviving are seven grandchildren and four brothers, Richard and Ralph Horrox, Milton; Emerick and Gordon Horrox, Brandonville. Funeral will be held on Friday afternoon. J. A. Oravitz and Sons have charge.
