2. Census in 1870 in Manheim Twp., York, PA. ³ The 1870 census recorded H. H. Sharer, farmer, 44, living with wife Susanna, 50; and son William, 13. Their real estate was valued at $3000 and personal estate $500. All were born in Pennsylvania. The post office was Xenia.
