Miss Clara W. Bucher, 76, of 109 Center street, Milton, died at her home Sunday afternoon at four o'clock. She had been in failing health for the past few years, and was critically ill several months.
Miss Bucher succumbed in the house she had resided her entire life.
She was born August 21, 1870, the daughter of the late J. Frank and Adeline Wolfe Bucher. For many years she was secretary of the Hackenburg Wholesale and Retail China Store. She was a faithful member of the Evangelical and Reformed Church.
Surviving are a sister, Miss M. Jennie Bucher, with, whom she resided, and two brothers, J. Frank Bucher, D. P., of Egg Harbor City, N. J., and Fred D. Bucher, of Warren, Ohio.
Services will be held Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock from the residence with Rev. Melvin E. Danner, pastor of the Evangelical and Reformed Church, presiding. Interment will be made in Harmony cemetery. Friends may call at the late home Tuesday evening.
