Esther A. Bicher ¹

  Noted events in her life were:

1. Census in 1850 in Kutztown, Berks, PA. ¹ On page 100 of the 1850 Kutztown census, we find Esther A. Bicher living as the one Bicher listed in the household of Solomon Kutz, age 66, farmer. Living with him is Louisa, age 23, too young to be his wife and likely a daughter. Was her name Bicher when married, then she rejoined her father when parted from her husband, bringing along Esther? Also in the household is Susanna Kutz, 18, who could be the sister of Louisa. On the same census page are two other Bicher households: Joshua, age 32; and Daniel, age 50. On the following census page 101 is William Bicher, a physician, age 36, with his family. All these Bichers are likely related.
