2. Census in 1880 in Milton, Northumberland, PA. 7 In the North Ward of Milton, Jonas F. Bucher, blacksmith, age 46, was living with wife Adeline, 38; Lizzie, 14; Mary, 12; Clara, 10; John N., 8; Jennie M., 5; and Jonas F., 2. They and their parents were born in Pennsylvania.

3. Newspaper: Miltonian, 11 May 1906, Milton, Northumberland, PA. 8 On Wednesday last Misses Lizzie and Mary Bucher went to Lancaster to witness the graduation of their brother, Frank, at the Franklin & Marshal Theogical Seminary. They were accompanied by Mrs. William Anspach and Mrs. Hull Knauer, also of St. John's Reformed Church, this place. The young man who takes order has always been a close and worthy student, and has provided for himself an eight year mission to China and he has the good wishes not only of the local congregation but of the church at large, as well as the people of the town.

5. Obituary: The Daily Item on 2 Sep 1938 in Sunbury, Northumberland, PA. 1 Miss Mary Bucher, Retired Milton School Teacher Dies
Miss Mary Bucher, 109 Center street, Milton, died Thursday night at her home following an illness from a heart condition. She was a retired school teacher, having taught in the Milton schools for 47 years.
She was born in Milton the daughter of J. Frank Bucher and Adeline Wolfe, and is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Miss Clara Bucher, Miss Margaret Bucher, Milton; Rev. J. Frank Bucher, China, and Fred B. Bucher, Canton, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held from the home at two o'clock Monday afternoon with Rev. W. T. Keiffer officiating. Burial will be made in Harmony cemetery. Friends may call at the home Sunday evening.
