Confederate Veterans and Daughters Decorate the Graves of Dead
(Special to The Herald.) CYNTHIANA. Ky., May 30.-The body of Mrs. Fannie D. Cook was laid to rest yesterday in Battle Grove Cemetery.
The funeral services were held at the residence on Main Street at 10 o'clock and were conducted by the Rev. M. T. Chandler, of the Methodist church. assisted by the Rev. C. F. Moore, of the Presbyterian church.
Mrs. Cook was the wife of W. A. Cook, who survives her. She also leaves an adopted daughter, Miss Audray Cook; two sisters, Mrs. Callie Sullivan and Mrs. Van Turgel, of Dayton, O., and a brother, H. E. Moore, of Concord, Ky, The pallbearers were William Baur, W. Hi. Ingels, James Cromwell, Lee Houston, Abram Gossett and C. A. Renaker.
