Census in 1860 in North Heidelberg, Berks, PA. 16 The 1860 census recorded Louisa Lake, 6, living in the home of Jonathan Eyrich, farmer, 24, and his wife Rebecca, 23, and their children Sally Ann, 3, and Clara, 1. There is another child: Richard Leake, 7. Also in the home is Henry Kersh, m. laborer, 22; Mary Benethum, domestic, 18; and Daniel Fidler, monthly laborer, 27. Everyone was born in Pennsylvania. Wernersville, Nov. 6 (Special) -- Mrs. Levi R. Beecher, formerly MIss Ellen Lake, died at her residence, near Wernersville, yesterday at 6:30 a. m., aged 60 years, 9 months and 23 days. She is survived by her husband, two sons and one daughter: William L., Philadelphia; John A., Wernersville; and Mrs. Isaac E. Luckenbill, Wernersville; also one grandson and one granddaughters. She is the last of her family. She was a lifelong member of Hain's Church. Funeral Thursday, Nov. 11 at 10:30 at the house. Funeral Directors Wolfensberger & Feather have charge.


Ellen married Levi Reifsnyder Beecher, son of William Beecher and Sarah Anna Reifsnyder.1 (Levi Reifsnyder Beecher was born on 23 Nov 1848 in Lower Heidelberg Twp., Berks, PA 1 3 21 22, christened on 17 Dec 1848 in Hamburg: Trinity Lutheran Church, Berks, PA,23 died on 6 Mar 1929 in Wernersville, Berks, PA 3 5 22 24 and was buried on 11 Mar 1929 in Wernersville: St. John's (Hains) Reformed Church, Berks, PA 3 22.)
