Since David married a Koch, and a Joel Koch, born about 1815, is living next door to Josiah (Jessias) Buchert, born about 1819, in the 1870 Census for New Hanover Township, a relationship between David and Josiah (Jesse) is probable. We have assumed David is Josiah's brother and another son of George Bucher.
