1. Newspaper: Daily Mail: "Crash Kills Two", 19 Jan 1950, Hagerstown, Washington, MD. 5 Ingleside, Md., Jan 19 -- William Beecher, 24, and his sister-in-law, Thelma Lassen Beecher, 27, were killed early today when their car smashed into a culvert near here. They lived between Barclay and Templeville, few miles north of Ingleside."

2. Newspaper: Terre Haute Tribune: Former T. H. Woman Is Fatally Injured, 19 Jan 1950, Terre Haute, Vigo, IN. 1 Mrs. Thelma Beacher, 27 years old, former Terre Haute resident, died at Suddlersville, Md., Thursday morning as the result of injuries received in an auto accident there.
Surviving are the husband, Henry; one daughter, Miss Lucille Marie Larsen, St. Louis, Mo.; the mother, Mrs. Lucille Brinovec, 2106 North Twenty-first street, Terre Haute; the father, Harold Meddling, South Bend, Ind. The body will be brought to Terre haute and taken to the Gillis Memory Chapel.

3. Newspaper: The News: "Farmer, Sister-In-Law Die in Highway Wreck", 19 Jan 1950, Frederick, Frederick, MD. 6 Ingleside, Jan 19 (AP) -- A Queen Anne's county farmer and his sister-in-law were killed early today when their car crashed into a culvert on State Route 19 just east of here.

State Police identified the victims as William Beecher, 24, and Thelma Lassen Beecher, 27. They lived between Barclay and Templeville, a few miles north of here.

State Trooper George R. Cole said Beecher apparently tried to go too fast around a curve and hit the culvert. The car's motor was driven back into the front seat, pinning both victims. Mrs. Beecher died immediately of a fractured skull and Beecher died about an hour later of hemorrhages and shock.

4. Newspaper: Terre Haute Tribune: Mrs. Thelma Beacher, 20 Jan 1950, Terre Haute, Vigo, IN. Word was received here Thursday of the death of Mrs. Thelma Beacher, 27 years old, formerly of Terre Haute, which occurred Thursday at Suddlersville, Md., from injuries sustained in an auto accident. Surviving are the husband, Henry; a daughter, Lucille Larsen of St. Louis; the mother, Mrs. Lucille Brinovec of Terre Haute, and the father, Harold Meddling of South bend. Services and burial will be held Sunday at Suddlersville.

5. Newspaper: Denton Journal: Funeral services for Mr. William Beacher and Mrs. Thelma Beacher, victims of an automobile accident, were conducted from Templeville Methodist Church on Sunday, jan 22nd, at 1 p. M. By the Rev. C. H. Atkins., 27 Jan 1950, Denton, Caroline, MD. 7
