Mrs. Hyland Doyle of Levittown, Pa., has announced the engagement of her daughter, Carol Anne, to John Kistler Bury, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hubert H. Bury of 2940 Livingston St., Allentown. Miss Doyle, the daughter of John Doyle of Boston, is a graduate of Misercorida Hospital School of Nursing in Philadelphia and is on the nursing staff at the hospital. Mr. Bury received his B.A. degree from Franklin and Marshall College where he was a member of Phi Kappa Sigma fraternity. He is an insurance adjuster for Crawford and Co. in Philadelphia. A spring wedding is planned.

Obituary: Burke Funeral Home on 4 Sep 2011 in Saratoga Springs, Saratoga, NY. ^{2 3} Ballston Spa, NY - Anna Doyle (nee Hyland) passed away on September 4, 2011 at Maplewood Manor surrounded by her devoted and loving family. She was 87. Anne was born in Philadelphia, PA on February 28, 1924 and was the daughter of the late Francis and Margaret (Cluney) Hyland and was one of eleven children. She graduated from West Catholic Girls School in Philadelphia. In 1981 she retired from her account clerk position at Allied Stores and moved to Ballston Spa, NY. Anne loved the Jersey Shore where she enjoyed many summers with her family. She cherished the time spent with her grandchildren. She was a communicant of St. Marys Church in Ballston Spa. Mother of Carol Anne (John) of Emmaus PA, John (Judy) of Winnie Texas, Dianne (David) of Ballston Spa and Joan of Philadelphia; Grandmother of Christopher (Melissa) Bury; Melinda, Jacqueline, Jessica, and John Doyle; and T. David (Drea), Cara, Emily Tarity; 2 great grandchildren Addison and Emma Grace Bury . She is also survived by two sisters, Agnes OKeefe and Elizabeth Hetu, both of Philadelphia and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 9am Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011 at St. Mary's Church, Ballston Spa by the Rev. Thomas J. Kelly, pastor. Burial will follow in the family plot at St. Peters Cemetery, West Avenue, Saratoga Springs, NY. Arrangements are under the direction of the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes of 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY(584-5373).
