1. Obituary: in 1998. Carolyn May Book, 68, formerly of New Cumberland, died Tuesday in the Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Middlesex Township.
She retired as a payroll supervisor from the Patriot-News Co. and was an Altoona native.
Surviving are a son, Bradford T. of New Brunswick, NJ; two daughters, Cindy Book Gahagan of Baltimore and Lyndell Carol D'Angelo of Mechanicsburg; two brothers, John C. Bucher of Camp Hill and Harry B. Bucher of Carlisle; two sisters, Mary Lou Garcia of Salinas, CA and Susan E. Swearinger of Mathews, NC; and a granddaughter, Autumn Elizabeth Book.
Memorial services will be held at 11 am. Thursday in Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland, Fairview Township.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 am. Thursday in the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 375 Claremont Drive, Carlisle, PA 17013.
