1. Obituary: Lebanon Daily News on 28 Apr 1971 in Lebanon, Lebanon, PA. ⁴ Arlene S. Maulfair Bucher, wife of Simon D. Bucher, Annville RD 1, died in her home this morning at the age of 42. She had been ill for nine months. A native of Palmyra, she was a daughter of Elmer Maulfair, Lebanon, and the late Estella Long Maulfair. She was a member of the Palmyra Church of the Brethren, and the Fellowship Sunday School Class. She had been president of Group No. 3 of the Farm Women's Group of Lebanon County. Surviving, in addition to her husband and father, are two sons, Gary D., and Jeffrey A., both at home; two sisters, Emma, wife of Lester Krall, Schaefferstown, and Mary, wife of Mark Ebersole, Lebanon RD 4, and a brother, Herman E. Maulfair, Cleona. Also surviving are her stepmother, Mrs. Beulah Mulfair, Lebanon, a stepsister, Dorothy, wife of Clarence Spangler, Millersville RD, and a stepbrother, Robert H. Heisey, Lebanon.

Arlene married Simon D. Bucher, son of Allen G. Bucher and Kathryn Elizabeth Henry. (Simon D. Bucher was born on 6 Feb 1922 in North Londonberry Twp., Lebanon, PA,^{1 5} died on 4 Jan 2001 in Lebanon, Lebanon, PA ^{1 5} and was buried in North Annville Twp.: Memorial Cemetery, Lebanon, PA ^{1 5}.)
