  Death Notes:

Most genealogists derive his date of death from his will. However, since it may have been signed prior to his death, further confirmation is needed, perhaps confirming inscriptions on his tombstone.

Noted events in his life were:

1. He immigrated to America in the ship Lydia sailing from Rotterdam, last from Dover, James Alien, master, and arrived on 27 Sep 1740 to Philadelphia, Philadelphia, PA. 7 8 9 On the ship's roster were 18-year old Johann Adam Schnyder and 19-year old Daniel Schnyder and their stepfather Hans Georg Brosius (age 42) with their mother. Traveling with them is Christoph Geist (age 23) whose son later marries Daniel's granddaughter; the Geists later settle into Northumberland County with the Schneiders. The ship also carried Johann Gerhard Schnyder (age 42) and Arnold Scheider (age 22); further research can reveal if they were related.

.
