Adam had no real estate value and his personal estate was worth $800.

Bucker, bartender, father-in-law, 64, born Sep 1835, widowed, was living with his daughter, Sadie C., 38, Sept 1861, and her husband, David Biesecker, 45, Sept 1854. They had been married 20 years and she had birthed 5 children, 5 still alive in 1900. With them: Carrie S., 18, Feb 1882; Lloyd A., 8, Jul 1891; and Miles A., 5, Apr 1895. Everyone and their parents were born in Pennsylvania.

4. Census in 1910 in Franklin Twp., Adams, PA. ⁵ Adam F. Bucker, occupation "own income", father-in-law, 73, widowed, was living with his daughter, Sadie C., 48, and her husband, David R. Biesecker, day laborer, 54. Sadie was David's second marriage. They had been married 31 years and she had birthed 6 children, 6 still alive in 1910. With them: Lloyd A., 18; Miles A., 14; and daughter Katherine E., 7. Everyone and their parents were born in Pennsylvania.

5. Obituary: Gettysburg Times: obituary of Mrs. Sadie C. Biesecker on 12 Jan 1931 in Gettysburg, Adams, PA. ⁴ Becoming ill while visiting her daughter in Harrisburg, Mrs. Sadie C. Biesecker, 69, Cashtown, one of five generations, died from a heart attack Saturday afternoon before a physician could be summoned. Death occurred at the home of Mrs. Jesse C. Landis. Mrs. Biesecker was the daughter of Adam Bucher, Gettysburg, and was the second link in a chain of five generations, one of the few in this section. Her daughters, Mrs. C.A. Heiges, wife of the burgess of Gettysburg, is a grandmother, making Mr. Bucher great-great-grandfather of Freddy C. Heiges, a few weeks old son of Mr. And Mrs. Frederick Heiges, of York. Mrs. Biesecker lived the greater part of her life in Cashtown and Franklin township. For the past several years she had been residing with her children. She was an active member of the Flohr's Lutheran church and a member of the Excelsior Sunday School class. She is survived by two sons and four daughters, Lloyd A and Miles A Biesecker, both of Cashtown; Mrs. CA Heiges, Gettysburg; Mrs. John U Reamer and Mrs. CJ Gallagher, Cashtown, and Mrs. Landis, of Harrisburg. Sixteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive. In addition to her father, three brothers, G. McClellan Bucher, Edward J. Bucher and Harry A. Bucher, all of Cashtown, survive. Funeral services Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home of her daughter, Mrs. CA Heiges, 127 Buford Avenue, with burial in Flohr's cemetery.
