Beecher, by the judges of Court of Common Pleas No. 1. The couple had been married for nearly 39 years, though they have not lived together for over a quarter of a century.
A peculiar feature of the decree is a clause prohibiting Beecher from marrying Kate Merriman during the lifetime o the libellant. Beecher is said to reside on Mt. Washington.

Washington, on Friday, March 30, at 2 p. m. Friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend. Interment private in Versailles cemetery, McKeesport. Pa., on Saturday.

12. Obituary: The Daily News on 29 Mar 1923 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny, PA. 5 Mrs. Kate Beecher Fields [sic] died at her home on Boggs Avenue, Mt. Washington yesterday from an attack of plural pneumonia. She was the daughter of Mrs. Sarah Merriman, a former resident of this city, and is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Sadie Beachdel and Ove [sic] Merriman, both of this city and John Merriman of Connecticut. The funeral service will be held at her home tomorrow afternoon at 2 'clock. Burial will be Saturday in Versailles cemetery.
