Census in 1860 in Douglass Twp., Montgomery, PA. 3 Augustus Buchert, farmer, 39, is living with Sarah, 35; Cathie, 13; Malinta, 6, and Elias Yerger, 75 [likely the father-in-law, suggesting Sarah's maiden name is Yerger.] Everyone was born in Pennsylvania. His real estate was valued at $6,300 and possessions $1,165. Next door is Joshua Yerger, 38, and his wife Catharina and children, on a farm worth $6,000.
