He was a son of Edward A. and Hannah (Long) Breidgam, was a member of St. Mark's Reformed Church, the Fraternal Order of Eagles, and the Goodwill Fire Company. He was a truck driver in the employ of the York Motor Express Company.
Surviving besides his parents are his widow, Elsie (Bicher) Breidegam; these sisters: Eleanor, wife of Earl Hoverter, Critobal, Canal Zone; Mabel, wife of Karl Behm, and Dorothy, wife of Donald Graeff, this city. Funeral at 1.30 o'clock Monday afternoon from the T. C. Auman, Inc., funeral parlors, where services will be conducted. Interment in Aulenbach's cemetery.


William married Elsie May Bicher, daughter of William Howard Bicher and Wilhelmina B. Schmid. (Elsie May Bicher was born on 8 Nov 1900 in Mohnton, Berks, PA,1 7 8 9 10 died on 29 May 1991 in , , Pennylvania, USA 1 8 10 11 and was buried in Reading: Aulenbach's Cemetery, Berks, PA 8 11.)
