1. Obituary: York Daily: obituary of George Druck on 9 Aug 1904 in York, York, PA. ⁵ George Druck, aged 82 years, 4 months and 29 days, died at his residence of Prospect street, Sunday morning at 7:15 o'clock. Mr. Druck was born in Hellam township and followed the occupation of farming until advancing years made him retire. He was married to Miss Catharine Schell, who died twenty-two years ago. To this union were born six sons and six daughters, of whom Aaron W., of Chanceford township; George W., of York township, and Amos, Mrs. D. H. G. Beecher and Mrs. J. W. Coble, of this city survive him. Besides his children the lineal descendants were fifty-four grandchildren and twenty-eight great-grandchildren, of whome thirty-six grandhcildren and twenty-four great grandchildren survive him. Mr. Druck married the second time a Mrs. Minnie Schaller, who also survives him. During the memorable years of the sixties Mr. Druck served as school director of Hellam township, after which he moved to York township, until he quit farming. He was for fifty-five years a member of the United Evangelical church, and seved as class leader, exhorter and trustee for many years. His funeral will take place a 10 o'clock today at this residence, the Rev. Benjamin Hengst officiating at the Green Hill United Evangelical church, where the interment will be made. George married Catherine Schell, daughter of Emanuel Schell and Mary, on 28 Nov 1843 in York: St. Paul's (Wolf's) Church, York, PA. (Catherine Schell was born on 22 Jun 1820 in , York, PA,^{1 6} died on 28 Mar 1882 in , York, PA ^{1 6} and was buried in York.: Mount Rose Cemetery, York, PA ⁶.)
