O. Clyde Sheaffer, 60, a native of Shippensburg, died Sunday morning at 8 o'clock in Carlisle hospital, following an illness of several years.
He resided on Carlisle R. R. 1 and was a retired laborer.
A son of the late Ruloph and Leah Beecher Sheaffer, he was born in Shippensburg on November 5, 1887. He was a member of the Messiah Evangelical United Brethren Church here.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Florence Sheaffer; two daughters, Mrs. Glen Hurley of Newville and Miss Anna Mae Sheaffer of Harrisburg; three grandchildren, and two brothers, Arthur of Carlisle and Clar of Carlisle R. R.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon from the M. Garfield Barbour funeral home with the Rev. R. R. Ziegler of Boiling Springs in charge. Burial will be made in Spring Hill cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday evening.
