Evans, son of Mrs. Dewey Evans and the late Mr. Evans, Plymouth. Miss Beecher, a graduate of Blue Mt. High School, is a senior at Mansfield State College. Mr. Evans is a graduate of Plymouth High School and Wilkes College, Wilkes-Barre. He is a teacher at the Montrose Consolidated High School, Montrose. A July wedding is planned.

Patton, director of the Cooperative Extension Service of The Pennsylvania State University, says her appointment is effective Oct. 1 and that she will be in charge of the adult and 4-11 homemaking programs. Miss Beecher received her bachelor of science degree in home economics from Mansfield State College in .June 1964. While on the campus she was active in various organizations. During the school year of 196465 she taught home economics in the Wenatchce School District. Wenatchee, Wash. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Beecher, Schuylkill Haven, R. D. 1, she was a 4-H Club member eight years and a senior extension club member one year. In Monroe County, Miss Beecher will be associated with John E. Wilhrow and Charles D. Hogan. Jr., county agents. Their offices are in the Post Office Building, Stroudsburg.
3. Obituary: The Call: obituary of Mrs. Sarah Beecher Hayes on 22 Jul 1976 in Schuylkill Haven, Schuylkill, PA. 2 Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Beecher Hayes, 33, Fort Kent Maine, died at her home Tuesday. Death was due to an electrical shock caused when an aluminum ladder she was holding came in contact with an electric power line. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John William Beecher, RD1 Schuylkill Haven, she was born in Bloomsburg. She was a graduate of Blue Mt. High School and Mansfield State College. She is survived by her husband, William T. Hayes; two children, John 9 and Carolyn 7; two sisters, Carol Beecher, Virginia; Elaine, wife of Russell Douthett, Germany. Services will be held in Fort Kent.
