At 5:40 o'clock Sunday evening, Jesse F. Beecher died at his home in West Hill. He was aged 67 years. Mr. Beecher was a member of the McClure's Gap Church of God. He was a retired farmer, a native of Upper Frankford Township, where he had resided practically all his life. The survivors are, his widow, Mrs. Flora Beecher; two sons, Henry W. Beecher, Woodbridge, N. J., and Thompson W. Beecher, Pittsburgh; one daughter, Mrs. Robert Brown, West Hill and a sister, Mrs. Annie Mountz, Newville. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the Plaintield Church of God.


Jesse married Flora Walker, daughter of Thompson Walker and Elmira Agnes Turner, on 13 Jan 1887 in Blosserville, Cumberland, PA.1 (Flora Walker was born on 20 Feb 1864 in , Cumberland, PA,4 7 26 27 died on 29 Aug 1942 in West Pennsboro Twp., Cumberland, PA 7 26 28 and was buried on 2 Sep 1942 in Carlisle: Salem Stone Church Cemetery, Cumberland, PA 7 26.)
