Everyone was born in Pennsylvania. John's farm had no value, suggesting he was living on the farm of Jacob below.

Jacob Bucher, farmer. He is listed but his age is difficult to read because it was overwritten and the ink blurred. The age appears to be 55 or 58, although the 5 might be a 2. Living with him is Socia [?], 28; Mary, 20; Jacob, farmer, 19; William T., 8; Phebe A. 6; and Samuel Bucher, 26, laborer. Everyone was born in Pennsylvania. Jacob's farm was worth $6,000.

Jacob and Socia Duffey lived on the old homestead on the west side of Big Aughwick Creek, just westward off the road that leads from Orbisonia, Pa., to Meadow Gap. The old homestead is now owned by Mr. Mathews. On this old farm, south of the buildings, about 400 feet, in an open field, is a small burial plot, with several of the above buried therein.
