The old midwife Susanna Apfelin, born July 25, 1703, at Lomersen in Wurttemberg. Father was Georg Bocher and Mother Margreth. She came to this country in 1713. She married Balthasar Fauth in 1721, with whom she had 2 sons and 3 daughters, and lived in marriage 30 years, 6 months and after that 17 years, 9 months as a widow. She experienced 25 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Died Feb. 11, from ashtma, aged 69 years, 6 months, 16 days.
