2. Witness: 23 May 1786, Frederick: Evangelical Lutheran Church, Frederick, MD. The marriage record from the church book: "William Williams & Keziah Johnson, widow, by license. Witnesses: Eleonora, wife of Henrich Bruder. Fridrich Bucher. Isaac Mantz." [Researcher's Note: From this we assume Keziah's first husband was a Johnson, and her maiden name is Bucher, which is why Eleonora and Fridrich are appearing. Fridrich was probably her brother filling in for the bride's father Henrich who could not appear.].
