She died Saturday, Oct. 31, 1998 in Bruceville Terrace Nursing Home, Sacramento, Calif.
Born Sept. 29, 1908 in Newville, she was a daughter of the late Christopher S. and Louella M. Sanderson Cohick and the widow of Henry Ward Beecher, who died Oct. 30, 1945.
Mrs. Beecher retired in 1973 from Breuner's Department Store, Sacramento, Calif., after 27 years of service.
She was a Protestant.
Surviving are several cousins and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, George S., Cloyd W., Herman E., C. Luther and Kenneth S. Cohick; and one sister, Sara E. Shenk.
The Rev. D. Alan Mathna will officiate at Friday's service. Burial will be in Westminster Cemetery, North Middleton Township.
Friends may call from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
