The mother was born in Maryland, father in Pennsylvania, and children in Ohio.

The next household is headed by Jacob's mother, Elizabeth Bucher, 74. She is living with her son Joseph, farmer, 48; Elisabeth, 16; Thomas, 10. the latter two appear to be Joseph's children, but his wife isn't listed. Also in the same household is David McCroskry, cooper, 37; his wife Elisabeth, 44, who is likely a daughter of the elder Elizabeth; Francis A., 12; Josephine, 10; Martha, 8; Ellen, 5; and son Julias, 4. The elder Elizabeth, her son Joseph, and David and wife Elisabeth were born in Pennsylvania, everyone else in Ohio.

The household previous to Jacob is Darias Litsinger, farmer, 45, living with Jacob's sister Mary A. Darias and Thomas was born in Maryland, Mary A. in Pennsylvania, the others in Ohio. Darias real estate is valued at $3,000, while Jacob and Elizabeth Bucher have no value listed, indicating that the other Bucher families were living on Litsinger family land.
