2. Census in 1900 in Norristown, Montgomery, PA. ³ Colman Beecher [sic], gardener, 54, born Nov 1845, was married for 30 years to wife Helen, 49, Dec 1851. She had birthed 9 children, 8 were alive in 1900. With them: Mary, cigar maker, 28, Aug 1871; William, huckster, 26, Dec 1873; Harry, salesman, 21, Jun 1878; George, machinist, 17, Jul 1882; Eugene, cigar maker, 15, Nov 1884; Anna, 13, May 1887. All of the children were single. Also in the home: James McGuire, grandson, 2, Aug 1897. Everyone and their parents were born in Pennylvania, except Helen's father was from Ireland and mother from New York.

3. Census in 1910 in Norristown, Montgomery, PA. ⁶ Living at 226 Miner St, Coleman Beecher, gardener odd jobs, 64, was married for 40 years to wilfe Ellen, 60. She had birthed 9 children, 7 still living. With them: Eugene, 25; Anna, 22; William H., 37. Everyone was born in Pennsylvania except Ellen and her parents in New York. Coleman's parents were from Pennsylvania.

Census in 1940 in Norristown, Montgomery, PA. ⁷ The 1940 census recorded at 1041 Willow Street: Ella McGuire, seamstress at home, widow, 63, living with her daughter-in-law Anna McGuire, operator telephone co., widow, 44; grandson Paul McGuire, operator, 18; granddaughter Jean McGuire, 15; and brother William Beecher, age blank. Everyone was born in Pennsylvania and lived in the same house in 1935.

5. Census in 1950 in Norristown, Montgomery, PA. ⁸ The 1950 census recorded William Beecher, 76, never married, living with his sister Ellen's daughter-in-law, Anna Maquire, widowed, supervisor at telephone company, 54. They were born in Pennsylvania.
