1. Census in 1850 in Bern Twp., Berks, PA. ¹ Catherine Beecher, 11, is living as the only Beecher in the family of Solomon Richenbeusch, 40, farmer, and his wife Rosanna, 41. Rosanna Richenbeusch's children living with them: Jacob, 18; Augustus, 9; Mary, 7; Cyrus, 5; and Catherine, 2. Solomon's farm is worth $10,000. Everyone was born in Pennsylvania.
