1. Obituary: Lancaster New Era: Samuel B. Moore, 71, Of Thorndale, Dies on 6 Jul 1963 in Lancaster, Lancaster, PA. ⁵ Samuel B. Moore, seventy-one, 3805 Louanna Ave., Thorndale, died at the Coatesville Hospital Friday morning after a long illness. Born in Philadelphia, he was son of the late William B. and Sarah McMullin Moore, and was a resident of Thorndale for the past 44 years." A carpenter by occupation, he attended the Wild-briar and Gurthreville schools and was a member of the Thorndale Methodist Church. Besides his wife, the former Virginia Gill, surviving are these children: Virginia, wife of Frank tin Morgan, Strasburg; Elizabeth, wife of Earl Beecher, Bran' damore; and Emma Jean, wife of Jasper Covington, Palm, Pa. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
