Also in the home are two coopers: David Stonor, 31, and Jefferson Stahle, 28. William, Catharine and Sarah were born in Pennsylvania, the other children in Ohio. William's real estate was valued at $1000. 2. Census in 1860 in Randolph Twp., Montgomery, OH. 6 The 1860 census recorded Cath Wilson, widow, 39, living with her children: David D., cooper, 19; Jane, housework, 18; George, laborer, 16; Alfred, 13; Susan, 12; Andy, 9; Emma, 7; Willie, 4. Also in the home is David Stevens, cooper, 35, and Jeff Stall, cooper, 34. Everyone was born in Ohio. 3. Census in 1870 in Randolph Twp., Montgomery, OH. 7 The 1870 census recorded Katie Wilson, 49, born in Pennsylvania, living with her children born in Ohio: sons David, cooper, 28; George, laborer, 25; Alfred, laborer, 22; Jackson, laborer, 19; daughter Emma, 17; and son William, farm hand, 13. The post office was Vandalia. Katie's real estate was valued at $500 and personal estate $100. 4. Census in 1880 in Hartford City, Blackford, IN. 8 The 1880 census recorded Alfred Wilson, works in spoke factory, 33, living with wife Rosetta Wilson, 22. He was born in Ohio, she in Indiana, and their parents in Pennsylvania. In the same household is Rosetta's mother, Elizabeth Beecher, 50. She and her parents were born in Pennsylvania. 5. Census in 1900 in Hartford City, Blackford, IN. 9 The 1900 census recorded Alfred Wilson, day laborer at paper mill, 53, born Oct 1846, living with wife Rosetta,41, Jul 1858; daughter Agora, 19, Jan 1881; and son Waldo, 17, Oc 1882. Alfred and rosetta were married for 21 years. Alfred was born in Ohio, the others in Indiana. Alfred and Rosetta's parents were born in Pennsylvania. 6. Newspaper: Fairmount News: Alfred Wilson Is Called Home, 2 Dec 1924, Fairmount, Grant, IN. 1 Alfred Wilson, 78, passed away Thursday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Hal V. Dale, living at the corner of Sycamore and Adams streets after an illness of more than two months. Mrs. Wilson is survived by one son, Waldo, living in Hartford City, and one daughter, Mrs. Dale, with whom he resided at the time of his death. A short funeral service was held at the home of Mrs. Dale Sunday after which the body was taken to Hartford City where it lay in state for two hours at the home of his son. Funeral services were held from the residence and burial was made in the Hartford City cemetery. Alfred married Rosetta Beecher, daughter of Jesse Beecher and Elisabeth Trostle, on 9 Jul 1879 in Hartford City, Blackford, IN.
