She had birthed 4 children, 3 alive in 1900: Chester E., 11, Dec 1888; Alta E., 10, Jan 1890; and Ruth J., 2, May 1898. He was a laborer in a paper mill. Everyone and their parents were born in Indiana, except William's parents were from Pennsylvania.

Mrs. Alta (Beecher) Vance, 74, widow of Watson Vance, 10 W. Township Line Road, Washington Square Gardens, died suddenly this morning at that residence.
Mrs. Vance was born in Hartford City, Ind., Jan 12, 1891, a daughter of the late William P. and Louella (Creek) Beecher.
Her son, William, died May 7, 1965. She is survived by two daughters, Thelma, wife of William E. Schuck, with whom she lived at the W. Townshp Line address, and Pauline, wife of Alex Pilecki, Creamery; eight grand-children; three great-grand-children; one sister, Mrs. Opal Fernside, Chalfont, and two brothers, William Beecher, Conshocken, and Watson Beecher, Miami, Fla.
Funeral arrangements are pending with the Boyd Funeral Home, 718 Swede St.
