He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the US Army. He retired from Corning Inc. as a machinist with more than 50 years of service. He was a member of the A.F.G.W.U. Local 1000 and the Corning VFW Post #524.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Mary C. Bucher of Corning; daughters, Debra (Khris) Denison of Corning and Cindy (Harry) Mizio of Big Flats; two grandchildren, Stephanie and Cory Denison.
Funeral Services will be held at the Convenience of the family.
Memorial donations may be made to the South Corning Fire Department in Bert's name.
