On Sunday afternoon Mrs. Catherine Knerr died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Semmel, near Schecksville, at the age of 72 years, 5 months and 2 days, of complication of diseases.
The deceased was born in Lowhill Township and was the daughter of the late Jonas and Susan Knerr. She was a life long member of the Reformed wing of the Morgenland Church. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Oliver Balliet of this city, and Mrs. Henry Semmel, with whom she resided near Schnecksville. One brother, Willoughby Knerr also survives.
The funeral will be held from the home of her daughter, on Thursday morning at 9.30 o'clock. Regular funeral services will be held in Morgenland Church by the Rev. F. A. Guth and the remains will be interred in the adjoining cemetery.


Catharine married Jacob B. Heller. (Jacob B. Heller was born on 18 Dec 1833 in , Lehigh, PA and died on 31 Mar 1865 in , Lehigh, PA 6.)
